How the fee works
The service fee is added to the buyer’s total, so the price you set is the amount that reaches you. A ticket priced at 1,000 shows as 1,000 on your dashboard — the buyer sees the fee itemised at checkout.
Ways to take payment
- Cards — Visa, Mastercard and Amex, settled by Stripe in CAD or USD straight to your bank account.
- Wallets — Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link appear automatically on Stripe's checkout where the buyer's device supports them.
- Free events — no payment step at all; the ticket is issued instantly.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which settles Canadian and US dollars directly — buyers are charged in exactly the currency shown.
